Everything You Need to Know Before Your First Appointment
Your first appointment is designed to give Dr. Becky a clear understanding of your history, your goals, and how your body is currently adapting. This visit is typically about 30-45 minutes, allowing time for conversation, assessment, and your initial adjustment.
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose‑fitting clothing so you can move easily during your exam and adjustment.
During Your First Adjustment
Dr. Becky will assess how your spine, pelvis, and nervous system are functioning, then begin working with the areas that need support. She uses her hands to reposition and correct structural tension patterns, and may incorporate the ArthroStim, a handheld instrument that delivers rapid, targeted impulses to help release tight muscles and improve joint motion. This tool enhances the effectiveness of your adjustment and helps your body integrate changes more smoothly.
Adjustments reduce subluxations — misalignments or tension patterns that interfere with nervous system function. When these patterns are corrected, many people experience improvements in comfort, mobility, sleep, digestion, focus, and overall well‑being.
Your Care Plan
Every body responds differently. Most patients experience a “reset” period during their first phase of care, which typically takes 2–5 visits. During this time, appointments are often scheduled every 5–10 days to help your body stabilize into its new alignment.
After this initial phase, many patients choose to continue care:
Weekly for ongoing support
Monthly for maintenance
As needed for stress, symptoms, or life transitions
Dr. Becky will discuss what makes the most sense for your body and your goals. Follow‑up recommendations are always case‑by‑case.
Family Rates
We offer discounted family pricing so households can receive care together. As more members of your family become patients, each person’s visit rate decreases. This makes regular care more accessible for families who want support through pregnancy, postpartum, infancy, childhood, and adolescence.
